This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

It is sunset in Autumn, very near Halloween, and a number of children sit and stand on the strong limbs of a great oak tree, each child near a glowing pumpkin! This is a tribute to the great American author, Ray Bradbury by the Halloween Tree Painter, John Randall York!
About John York
John Randall York was born in Tyler, Texas and has lived there most of his life. His parents met on the city square in the World War 2 era. His grandfather, Henry York, was a photographer in Smith County in the early 1900s, travelling by horse and buggy. John paints watercolors on location in Tyler regarding them as snapshots, souvenirs and documents of his beloved hometown. His studio paintings are usually inspired by imaginary subjects. York was educated in Tyler public schools, attended Tyler Junior College and received a BFA from The University of Texas at Tyler. He has also designed giftware for Fitz & Floyd, Lenox, The Hamilton Collection and S & D Fine Collectibles (sold in Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Walt Disney World and...
